If we do not have in the kitchen of the sage, perhaps with a little ‘luck we can get seeds of anise to prepare an infusion which can be consummates before meals as an aperitif and anti at the end of the meal as a digestive, or even over the day especially if you are prey to intestinal spasms.

The infusion of anise should be prepared with a teaspoon of seeds left to brew for 15-20 minutes in a cup of hot water.

After a meal, for combating annoying disturbances like ‘halitosis, especially when you feel your mouth kneaded, it is useful chewing anise seeds.

Important: anise should be avoided during pregnancy!

We are emerging from eating the limits of decency and beyond the limits bearable by digestive system of most humans. If our stomach asks mercy and our intestine does not give us respite, try with infusions from spices. Supermarkets are now closed? No problem, just take a look in the kitchen between the spices… That’s it, and our digestive system, there will be very grateful!

spices-sage.jpgIf you have a balcony and a desire to cultivate a small plant using the sage, you can also buy already potted at the supermarket or already searched collection of spices. If you decide to make the big purchase, remember that the best period for collecting the leaves is from April to July and are dried in the shade in a ventilated and kept in bags made of canvas or paper. The sage is good against all the gastrointestinal disorders such as meteoric and abdominal swelling in general.

The infusion of sage should be prepared by pouring boiling water in a tisaniera (measure: tea cup) with a teaspoon of dried leaves and leaving to brew for about ten minutes: you can consume more cups throughout the day. If the leaves are fresh personally prefer to make a decoction 3 by boiling sage leaves in a cup of tea. The infusion of sage can also be against the pain and the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome and premenopausal-especially effective against the’ excessive sweating.
