toothache-remedies.jpgIt will be for panettone, the pandoro, the nougat, the liters of sparkling wine, who knows … but many of us are suffering the pains of hell because of toothache. No remedy can ever be better than a dental visit. But if our dentist is out of trust or because we or he is on holiday and if the male does not give us respite, try to peek in the kitchen…

- With a chopped onion to the sore disinfiammare – even in cases of gingivitis. For abscesses is preferable to the cooked onion, pending course of the antibiotic prescription!

seeds-of-anise.jpgWe watched together as the sage may be useful for the preparation of an infusion-saving digestive system. If we do not have in the kitchen of the sage, perhaps with a little ‘luck we can get seeds of anise to prepare an infusion which can be consummates before meals as an aperitif and anti at the end of the meal as a digestive, or even over the day especially if you are prey to intestinal spasms.

The infusion of anise should be prepared with a teaspoon of seeds left to brew for 15-20 minutes in a cup of hot water.

After a meal, for combating annoying disturbances like ‘halitosis, especially when you feel your mouth kneaded, it is useful chewing anise seeds.

Important: anise should be avoided during pregnancy!
