carrot.jpgThe cough does not give us a truce and prevent the whole family to sleep but fortunately serene nature knows how to help us especially in the presence of phlegm. The remedies are many and we will treat them in the course of our journey. I would, however, to dwell today on the decoction of carrot and the decoction of fig, recipes recovered – and tested by the entire family – in the text by Laura Mantovani: Curarsi with Herbs.

To obtain the decoction of carrots, we take 100 g of carrots, so let us do well and boil in 1 liter of water for ten minutes. For the decoction of fig, we boil 100 grams of dried figs in 1 liter of water for ten minutes.

The carrots and figs are foods that are not contraindications in pregnancy or in childhood, often are recommended!
